The Writer Sphere is a virtual writing center where you can access a consultant, tutor, grammarian, editor, brainstormer, and confidant!
At The Writer Sphere, we know that while writing is one of the best and most thoughtful ways you can express yourself, depending on the context, for some folks, it can be quite daunting. We also know that in this day and age, it can be much easier and less anxiety-inducing to access guidance on a virtual basis. The approach taken at The Writer Sphere is one that focuses on the individual needs of the student or client. We take time to get to know our clients because especially with the art of writing, it is immensely helpful to have trust and a connection with the person you are working with to allow for better understanding and growth potential. We highlight each client’s strengths and use those strengths to develop techniques to become more well-rounded writers. We establish accomplishable goals and objectives for each appointment, but we remain open to adapting through challenges in the writing process. We remain unafraid to be vulnerable and push boundaries in our writing to overcome our obstacles. We are with you from start to finish. Most of all, we will be your confidants, your cheerleaders, and your personal advocates as writing students and as people.
Alex Feigin has always loved to write. When all else failed, writing was the one area of academia where he felt completely confident yet adequately challenged at the same time. Alex’s writing experience consists of music journalism, magazine copy, ghost-writing for published books, as well as copy editing and transcribing for print platforms. Alex graduated from the Teaching of English program at Teachers College, Columbia University in 2017. During that time, Alex consulted with and coached students in writing. After leaving Columbia with his Master’s degree, Alex taught high school English for the New York City Department of Education. He also advised seniors throughout the college application and financial aid processes. Alex is an expert in formal essay writing and has tutored and consulted with high school, college, and graduate students on academic papers. He has been a creative consultant for authors and script writers focusing on plot trajectory and character arcs.
